I recently got back into the radio hobby after a 30 year hiatus. My simple shack consists of an Icom IC-R75 for Shortwave and a Uniden BC796D. Since I live in a loft condo, I use a RF Systems DX500 wideband active antenna. I control the Icom with Ham Radio Deluxe and the Uniden with ProScan.

I love that top you have there, it looks to be stainless steel right?
Very nice and welcome back to the hobby!

You're correct. It is a steel desk. Just about all the furniture is steel in my place-it lasts a long time!

Glad to see you back into the hobby, most of us scanner junkies never leave for good, seems like we always come back to enjoy it.

I'm using ProScan software for the scanner. I also use ARC250 for some things, like skipping scan banks and its srv search feature.
