Can anyone tell me, who has one of these radios, if the radio tracks the digital setting the same way as the pro96 does. To clarify what I am asking, the pro 96 automatically tunes in the digital signal without human intervention where the older digital unidens you had to go into some menu setting and adjust some type of digital filter. Is that a thing of the past? Is it simply program and go like the Pro96.

I would like to hear some feedback on these radios as I am going out to buy one of them or the pro2096 tomorrow.

Thanks,

Dave

The AUTO "8" setting gives acceptable performance on most digital systems. Unlike previous and other models, you can further optimize the decode threshold to provide slightly better decoding. Whether you will need or want to make any change from the default will depend entirely on the system you are monitoring.
