I operate node #999 for broadcastify calls and a friend of mine nearby runs another calls node (#1354), as well as a regular broadcastify audio feed, for the same county. we have tons of scanner listeners, but they all use the regular broadcastify audio feed, which runs on #1354. They don't use the calls interface because reasons. The problem we have is that the audio stream isnt as resilient and redundant as broadcastify calls and when an audio feed goes down, those listeners have no fallback (unless they know about the calls feature).
I wish there was a feature that would allow another nearby node (Audio feed, or Broadcastify Calls) to fill in for an offline audio feed. Like if 1354 goes down, it could seamlessly feed from my node as a fallback since i get the same calls at the same time.
Only workaround i could think of is asking him for his API key and offering to feed it directly for the time being.
