lately, i've noticed ARC250/296 version 1.10 has been doing incomplete "reads" of my 296 at any COM speed.
i have tried 3 computers, and various COM settings within the OS (windows 98)
the funny thing is that it just started doing this about 3 months ago, and i was blowing it off thinking it was just a byproduct of reading the scanner at a very high speed (57,6000)
what's even WEIRDER is that the missing information is really "there" if you just re-upload the bank!
i cannot figure out a way around this, including total reset of the scanner's PRAM/firmware.
has anyone else experienced such a thing with ARC250/296?
i am concerned that the memory in the 296 is starting to fail or something...
