Anyone notice bad reception on their scanner today? I have noticed when it's sunny it makes a difference on it.

Seems to benNormal here (using a ST-2 on a 20ft pole).
I am even picking up NOAA Weather Radio for State College PA at the moment.

I had poor RX on 800mhz stuff early in the morning, but by the time the sun was up and the frost had burned off it seemed to be much better. I always find reception is much weaker in the colder months as it is. Looking forward to summertime and some great inversions like I was getting last summer. On a good night I could pull in the KW EDACS system to the East of me, and MotoTRBO traffic from Detoit (using a handheld!) from the West.
