Bad trade with Foxtrotyankee

Ok folk's did trade my Flawless PSR gre600 .....Wich we were post to ship radio's out on 4/18/2009 .AM....That's what we agreed on.....an ship radio's PRIORITY shipping.......wich he did get my radio APRIL 13 at 2:59.....an i have not seen the radio he was post to ship to me.......which was a 396xt.....So i think i have been had for my flawless psr gre600.....I will give him till tomorrow before i take action......

Might be just a typo, but how were you supposed to ship the radios on 4/18 and he received his 5 days before that?

I sent the radio out the same day. I`m trying to figure out whats going on. I guess its all my fault that i didnt put insurance on it. I have never dealt with a trade via internet. You saying bad deal is kinda premature before we really know whats going on.

And what be out my radio? Something is not right with this picture. Put the shoe on the other foot , what if you got my radio and i didnt get yours and i said Earl just send me my radio back. What would you do? Would you just swallow 500 bucks? I`m doing some investigating before i take any action. If you want to send the police to my house by all means go right ahead. I`ll tell them like i just told you. Just so you know its not a legal issue for the police , its a civil matter. Thats straight from my lawyers mouth.

"Deceptive Practices", "Fraud", and a long list of other charges this falls under if in fact you did not send your radio out. Don't you have a tracking number?

Ok brian you got you a nice flawless psr gre 600 .......an iam siting here with nothing......I paid $513 from scannermaster... an i put ........Insurance an a tracking number on that radio that i sent you.....an you say that you did not put insurance on a new 396 xt......That don't sound right......here is my tracking number folk's............03082040000061163585........I can't help he did not cover his radio with insurance...so now i eat $513 dollar's.....you don't need to be very smart to see what's happening.here...that's all i have to say.

I`m not paying a lawyer nothing. My brother is a lawyer. Its a trade" which is a civil matter". I sent my radio out. I`m not just going to send a radio back because somebody tells me to and mine floating out there somewhere. Say he really didnt get it and i send his back , then low and behold mine shows up at his front door. Well he still never saw it , then i`m out. Not on my watch this isnt your matter so shut your yapper.

Why did you make the comment when i contacted you , saying i hope somebody didnt take it off my porch? That seems kinda of funny. I`ve been in contact with you everyday about this. The Postal service can move slowly, but did you at least contact them? If you do not have a tracking/delivery confirmation number you should still at least have a order/ticket #

I got everything i need. Thats what i`m doing covering my azz because the post office tends to lose things or things get held up. I think its not to fair that he`s going about it this way. I`ve talked to him everyday i just want to make sure the radio isnt going to show up after i send his radio back. Things can and will be worked out , but i`m just waiting to see if the radio shows up. all this crap with the police coming to my house is crazy. Then i got this other guy on here sticking his nose is crap , maybe the podunk redneck police department he works for would waste their time coming out for nothing , but laws very from state to state and a trade is a civil matter in my state.

Thats all i see and today is the 24th... sooo has this been resolved yet? even i protect myself on online trades and sales but i have a few references i trust here not calling anyone else bad but eh, just becareful on what you trade, you might get what you want, then again you might just get a box of rocks and you can use that for your driveway

Guys you have to undertsand where i am coming from. I have had contact with him everyday. I believe the radio is caught up somewhere. I`m just trying to see whats going on. I have no problem working this problem out with him. Just trying to protect myself. I made one mistake on how i sent it , dont want to make another. It just pisses me off about all the threats being made. I`m a good person i even offered to send him money if in fact the radio never came. All i got friom him is ship my radio in the a.m. or i`m sending the cops to your house. Thats not going to happen "shipping the radio or money for that fact" until i figure out what happend to my radio. I`m just asking for a bit of patience.

I was convinced an ebay seller was stiffing me on an astro radio. I had to call the post office and get the post master involved. They ran a trace in their system and found it sitting on a shelf in some post office half way between and nobody knew why.

Priority mail can take a week or more, and you shouldn't get worked up until it's been at least a week. I've seen packages delivered to the wrong address, held up at the PO, and stolen out of the mailbox (or off the porch.)

The only way you should EVER ship an item worth more than the cost of shipping it is by UPS or FedEx, and you should always get insurance.

But never mind that... pinhead, it may be that FW indeed did exactly what he said and that something else happened along the way: the radio could have been sidetracked or stolen from your front porch (as you're apparently afraid of.)

I would suggest taking it easy and waiting until Monday before getting worried. In the meantime, have foxtrotwiskey send you a copy of all the information he does have, and see if you can get to the bottom of what happened. Everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt, and if the scanner shows up tommorrow, you'll feel pretty stupid.

Also, posting names and addresses is not cool; even if you're mad at the guy, that's no reason to start posting his personal information on the web.
