Bad transmitions on SPEN

most of the spen abuse is coming off of base's.i had also heard or read or both that the id's are all b.s. and that nobody has a unique identifier.i've also been told by countless dispatcher's and p.o.'s that they have to either turn spen 1 off or down due to hearing the constant garbage.

lol I just simply rarely monitor SPEN, and when I do, it's when my town is reaching out to other pd's. And also I don't receive all the transmitions. Just started to listen to other towns and thats when I started to hear the innapropriate

Thats true, never heard about bogus ID's though. Someday someone is gonna get hurt or killed while they are jerking around. A critical call for assistance may be delayed by the comedians on SPEN 1.

I just heard spanish @ 2240. If the powers that be really wanted to crack down on it they could. Must not be too high on the list of priorities.
