Balck Bot Protesters...

I am san Francisco.
For the last several protests that have been here,
There is a group whom shows up mainly to cause truoble.
SFPD knows them well as they follow the Black bots every move..

Any how does anyone have any info on this group?
What is the proper name? Blackbox ,Black Bo?
ANyhow they have the same Modus Operandi,
Black bandanas over their faces, arrive out of Los Angeles, black clothing...
And they are extremely aggresive, as they assault film crews, Photgraphers
media crews etc
And yes, the Police and Sherrifs Deputies as well.

Doesn't surprise me!
I know they rent a lot of vehicles out of the L.A. area...
It makes me upset becaucse they make what would be 100% peaceful protests turn into
a nightmare...
and all they do is Hurt the cause they claim to support..
I know a lot of folks, including myself that wil NOT Attend any protest anymore out of fears of BLac Bloc showing up and causing a riot..
Furthermore while the PD and FD oh and Sheriffs are tryin to deal with these pukes..
somone elsewhere may need medical assistance and/ or the PD...
As citizen Of San Francisco, I see / hear it every time there is protest....

The New York Times says it has obtained videotapes that show the New York Police Department conducting surveillance by planting undercover officers at anti-war protests, bike rallies, and even a street vigil for a dead cyclist. The officers held protest signs, held flowers with mourners, rode their bicycles – and videotaped the people present.

In one case, the faked arrest of an undercover officer at a demonstration outside the Republican National Convention led to a serious confrontation between riot police and bystanders that led to the arrest of two people. The bystanders had shouted “Let him go!” The Times says the tapes show at least 10 undercover operatives taking part in seven public gatherings since the Republican Convention in August 2004.

They need a governor like James A. Rhodes. Although I don't condone the killing of innocent "students", after he got done with the Kent State mess, Ohio didn't have ANY riots or much unrest for a LONG time !!!! These people come into a town and tear up property, injure people and are generally just jerks. Cops ought to take a few of them out. Maybe next time, a few would stay home !!!!

Correct, the link provided NY as an example. Perhaps a link to a SF specific story wasn't available. I see it as providing an example to the same topic. Cops undercover. I didn't read anything in his post saying that it was PROOF.

I think you're assuming that he's providing information that was only found on the internet. Perhaps if you knew him ( like I do ) then perhaps you would know that he's educated himself via school and other social resources about these types of topics.

He blatantly stated that cops in SF go undercover to incite violence and rile up people; and when asked for a link to prove his point, he provided a link to a source from an obscure media outlet talking about NY. Maybe I'm wrong, but the question was for a link to provide proof of his assertion that SF police officers are doing this...not officers in NY....or officers in LA....or anywhere else. He hasn't proven that he has gotten any of his information from any other source than the internet and hasn't proven that he can find a source that backs up his assertion that officers in SF have done what he has alleged. As for your belief that promise keepers are weird....that's fine. At least you're not blatantly inflamatory with your statement and then try to justify your statement when called out by saying things like, "I have nothing against Christians or their beliefs." Anyways, this is obviously getting way off topic....yes, the poster irks me with the rhetoric in two threads with little facts to back up their claims, but more power to them. to make the protestors look dangerous...

I've SEEN SFPD Agents dress up as blac block nuts. I've BEEN there. My name is in my post. As a journalist I wouldn't SAY SOMETHING IN PUBLIC DOMAIN that wasn't true.

I HAVE SEEN THE BLACK BLOC.

I WAS PRESENT (running with both police and the media) DURING LAST YEARS PEACE PROTEST WHEN THE BLOC RAN WILD.

I SAW an agent (dressed in black, with bandanna and video camera) leave a dhs van.

This same agent was seen spraypainting a bus later, right in front of me, and a KRON-TV crew.

Unfortunatly, i had only a microphone and a flash recorder with me.

i wish that this was enough information for you, but i already know it's not.

watch sfbay/indymedia sites during protests and you'll often see video of undercover police video taping protestors.
