Baldwin Radio Woes

BALDWIN, Pa. — Communication is a vital aspect of any organized emergency response effort, and this is especially true for volunteer firemen who risk their lives while protecting the lives and properties of others.
But a radio problem that has existed for the last five months, after Baldwin Borough switched to the county's 911 system has several fire chiefs questioning why their concerns haven't been answered.

This is old news. This article is 6 months old. Whats the point you're trying to make? Unlike most of your posts this is not about a trunked system.

The article is headlined under interoperabilty. Allegheny county has moved more agencies to UHF, so more agencies are more interoperable with each other.

Like any move, it had its problems.

That county has bigger problems. First they need to teach the folks using the equipment that it's not a cell phone or a CB. Listening to ANY Allegheny County Public Safety frequency is like listening to Channel 19 (27.185 am) on the CB. Totally unprofessional. The funny thing is the County 911 side is just as bad.
