Tonight at 11:30 pm or so.. I noticed a cad # that was 2000 and something.....How do they work...Do they change back to 0000 at midnight.....My guess would be the district had 2000 or so calls and this is the #..Mabee its a random #...Mabee the amount of calls in that sector...Does anybody know?

Baltimore City calls their computers MWS or mobile work stations. As far as I know, the term KDT is only used in Baltimore County.
CAD numbers start at 0001 at midnight and continue until 2359 hours. It shows the number of calls total in Baltimore City. CAD 1623 would be for the 1,623 call dispatched in Baltimore City that day. Occasionaly you will hear the letter B prior to a CAD number. It doesn't change anything. B1623 would still be the 1,623 call dispatched.
2000 calls in one district or sector in a day would result in no one wanting to work for BPD.

Do those numbers include the FD calls or just the PD calls?

I believe just PD. It will also include any calls given to MDTA, MTA and School Police by BPD as well as any "on view" incidents by MTA or School Police that required them to draw a number.(Both write BPD reports MDTA has their own) Also doesn't include any of those agencies' calls that were never given to BPD.
