My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of FF Roberts and to the members of Truck 26 and Engine 41 where he was detailed. I'd also like to express condolences to the entire BCFD as they've all lost a colleague and a brother.

I join you in your expression of condolences to family, friends and fellow workers of this Fallen Firefighter. Between my father and me, we logged over 50 years in the Washington, D.C. Fire Department. I was a pallbearer in several funerals for fellow members who had passed in the line of duty. It is very hard to look at the surviving families, particurlarly the children. May God Bless Them All.
