Baltimore City Police

Hey Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone out there had the opportunity to monitor Baltimore City PD from the Delaware area. I was doing some reprogramming on my Pro 96 and I noticed some "foreign" radio traffic. After looking up the ID's, I found that it was Baltimore City PD that I was monitoring. Not too shabby to be able to monitor them from New Castle County.

I also copy Balt City 800 routinely from parts of DE.

I suspect atmospheric conditions would have to be extremely favorable for a trunkable signal to be received up north...for that matter in most parts of the state.

Are you in Delaware? Where are you and what are you using (I presume a 2096...)? As stated earlier, this should be in the Maryland forum if you're not trying to hear the city from Del.....73s Mike
