Baltimore County FIRE/EMS Volunteers are being issued Unication G4's to replace the old Minitors.

I wonder if they are paging/alerting over P25. Anyone have any info? Looking to program into my G5

I am a Volly in Baltimore County but I don't know anyone in the radio shop that could answer this.

G4s are only 700/800 MHz, so I think your question is answered.

They have be paging with tones on the talkgroup listed for North (I'd 9452), since it's not used as Division Talkgroup.

Must be something with this for the Volunteers.

Does anyone have the parameters for programming the g5 to alert for the EMS officer tones? I know this alerting topic has been beat to death but I can’t seem to find anything to outline the protocol settings or other settings to get these pagers to alert for the units being paged on the “one-out” (formerly “north”) talkgroup. I’ve gotten the 2 tone alerting to work in other jurisdictions, but won’t activate any of the ways I have tried for Baltimore county. Thanks in advance.

I just used the defaults in the software and they alert just fine.
