Just curious as to what other listeners keep the band default settings in their radios for ideal listening. (Modulation and Steps for each frequency range)

Auto for modulation and if using a newer radio, leave the default steps, it is very accurate

Only the older radios needed adjustments for steps within some Bands

Agree.

New radios default settings handle this well, as they recognize how the bands are used and the user types.

Messing around with things like steps etc can cause you to miss activity, especially if you search a lot.
