Band opening to South from San Antonio

There was a great tropo band opening to the south from San Antonio this morning.

149.6250 - This is a repeater in Mexico. In addition to Mexican comms it was repeating a US police department identifying as "Burnet". Also, some P25 traffic that did not decode.

150.4250 - A repeater in Mexico.

150.5250 - A repeater in Mexico.

163.6250 - P25 encrypted. BP freq.

163.7250 - BP in the clear.

165.2375 - Kerchunking

165.7625 - Data bursts

166.9875 - P25 encrypted.

167.6625 - BP in the clear.

168.0375 - P25 encrypted.

168.7625 - P25 encrypted.

San Antonio
Great tropo opening in the early hours of the morning. The most interesting is this Mexican repeater on 149.625. It appears to have an open squelch on receive and passes the tone of what it hears. I don't know what the input frequency is but it was repeating Waller EMS and others. It is a good frequency to monitor for VHF high band openings from Mexico.
