band plan for military

Is there a band plan for the military frequency range of 225-400 the mot plan I have is for the base frequency 406.0000 offset 380 step size kHz 25.00 not sure how to come up with these formulas any help would be appreciated ……………DarkWolf

I think you are confusing two different things here, DarkWolf. The military air band runs from 225-400 MHz and is not trunked. It's conventional frequencies, mostly AM mode and at 25 KHz steps. This is mostly used for air traffic, air operations, air-to-air tactical, etc. Some use of FM would be military satellites in this band as well.

There are some newer military base support trunked systems using the 380-400 MHz band. Those, so far, have all been P-25 digital, meaning you don't really need a band plan. Just set them up for P-25 auto and it should track.
