Band Plan

I'm new to programming digital scanners. I have a BCD325P2 and I'm confused. Is the base frequency the control frequency? How do you find the base frequency. I'm trying to setup the MSCommNet for the Bangor, Me area. Could someone help me. Maybe it's my age, I hope not 71yrs old. Thank You.

You shouldn't have to enter a band plan, just plug in the CCs for the site you want to monitor and your should be all set.

Band plan

Well! this is what happened. I had it working perfect, so I was checking out how I set up the the system, and I noticed the input for band plan. I checked it out, and there were -3- band plans in there. Like you said it wasn't suppose to need a band plan, so I deleted them. That was the last time my scanner ever picked up digital. I reset the scanner. re-entered the system, upgraded the firmware, and it still doesn't work. So, What is the base frequency? Just wondering. How did the band plan get in there in the first place? I didn't put them in.
