It would appear the communications once analog on vhf from Navy base Kitsap/Bangor have moved to the new DoD 380mhz trunked system. I am assuming so as it's been awhile since I've heard anything on the VHF frequencies. Can anyone verify they've moved? And if so,what site listed here belongs to them? I am hoping for a PSR 500 for Christmas . .Can the DoD system be programmed into a Pro96 with win96? I know some of you are saying "I don't know?,try it!". Well I would if I had a windows machine, I don't. .

Yes, of course. But the 380mhz DoD system cannot be monitored on my Pro96 without the use of a windows machine, and software, neither of which are available to me.

You can also scan the 400mhz trunked system from PSNS & Bangor. I scan that with my Pro 96 just fine.. although the only thing I can hear is the local PD & FD and crane operators and various contractors.
