I'm curious as to what you are doing for channel/bank organization. What scheme seems to work best for you.

Yes, I'm fully aware that with a computer interface storage space isn't much an issue still....

TIA

Oops...

I'm asking because I have customers that listen differently and am interested in the various setups that seem to work for you.

I'm contemplating changing my store cloning scanner to RENO METRO on the first three (closed) banks so I can have (1)Police/Sheriff (2)Fire (3)NHP/misc which would also give me some more room talk groups as WCCS seems to be expanding and the 20 per sub-bank/5 per bank is getting tight.

The Pro95/96 will only skip locked out talk groups IF the entire bank is closed.

I like to be organized so i can turn off different banks if i don't like listening to certain things (like NHP for example, they can be quite chatty and i like to hear stuff other than "10-6 traffic", like medical and police stuff).

I usually assign one trunking system per bank and my conventional frequencies get their own banks.

Hope this helps
