Was listening to a fire at my old boss house and when they went to Tac 2 I did not hear anything . Did they change frequency from 153.0500 ctcss 146.2? Thanks!

According to the FCC site, Banks County isn't assigned 153.0500.

Have you tried 154.2800 or just the output side on 154.3250? If it's simplex, you would have to be close to hear them.

Also, according to the FCC, they are licensed on 151.2575/155.8800 under WQLR275 which states:

90.20a - GOVERNMENTAL ENTITY WILL USE RADIOS FOR OFFICIAL FIRE AND PUBLIC SAFETY COMMUNICATIONS

Well just looked also and your right. Guess they did change it even the RR database still shows it.

Got looking at the database in my Uniden HP and it doesn't have 151.2575/155.8800 of course it not in the rr database for Banks County either. I'l plug those in and listen....wish I hadn't just sold my other scanners this week or I could set one up dedicated just for that....thanks for the info!

Well so far don't think 151.2575/155.8800 is tac 2 just regular fire talk (155.8800 is same as 151.2575 but also has some motor boating over the analog)

Has been pretty quiet and schools out this next week so better chance making sure next week as usually gets active in mornings with school traffic..
