Anyone here know who is operating on the ID 9031 on the BARCN system? It's in the clear and sounds like LEO just can't tell who it is and it's not in the DB.

I haven't been able to ID it but sounds like some sort of tribal TG. They were addressing as "xxx to nation." Months ago when it first started showing up they were all encrypted. Then over a month or so encryption slowly started being less and less. Right now there are only a few hits a day encrypted and usually from the same UIDs.

They were also taking about "The LTE in this radio works amazing." a few months ago. Makes me think their footprint is larger than the physical BA network can provide.

Could it be Creek Nation? Or maybe a patch of Cherokee Nation? If they’re saying Nation, those are really the only Tribal jurisdictions in that area covered by BACRN that I can think of.

I also can’t recall ever hearing Creek Nation PD on their conventional frequency when I lived in Tulsa and worked overnights covering news, even when they were pursuing, and the only way I would know was if either TPD, Sand Springs PD or OHP would broadcast an assistance call. So it could be them…

Definitely try to type in some addresses and cross streets to help nail it down. I know that’s not easy in Oklahoma where every town has the same W/E or N/S numbered streets and pretty much the same named streets (I.e. main, memorial, Oklahoma, Michigan etc.)😂
