Sorry I didn't get this posted until it was just about over. I was in my car when it started.
Suspect was negotiated into surrendering and is now awaiting a medic. CHP Air 31 (fixed wing) provided air support since no helicopeters were available. There was a crime scene near to the barricade location, 750 Sereno, but I still haven't ascertained the crime. SWAT was called up but cancelled when the suspect surrendered.
