Looking at the database for Barrow's P-25 Phase I, and I see a 'T' designator under the mode column for the FD TGID. Since we can't bring up the different mode designators in the database anymore, I'm just wondering if this designates that it is TDMA?
TIA,
Larry

Thank you for your answer. That is what I truly thought it was.
Now, if someone can tell me why my 396XT will decode that system and my GRE/RS 106/197 won't?

The T just means trunked.

That's not correct.

The T indeed means "TDMA".

Clearly the listing is incorrect, as Phase I systems are not capable of TDMA talkgroups. I've corrected the issue.

By the way, what do you mean by this? If you hover over the Mode column header, a popup will appear explaining the different modes.

When I slide my cursor over the column header, it doesn't show the different modes. Maybe just me. I don't know.

But, my 396XT will. I'll have to take my 800 out today to check out if it can hear the system.
Then, if it is a Phase I system, why won't my RS scanners decode it like the 396 does?

Sorry for the misinformation. I thought he was asking what the T on the scanner meant. Sorry guys I read the question wrong.

The 800 doesn't decode the Barrow system. It sees the system and shows the 'T'. So, none of my GRE/RS scanners won't work on this system. I'll have to try the HP to see if it'll work. Will post if it does.

With the GRE scanners, make sure the site table is set to Auto Fill. Delete anything that might be in the table currently.

Also, what is the active control channel for this system?

Also, you should take a look at the database and make sure you have all of the frequencies programmed. They added a frequency to the system a few months ago that was never added to the database. They're in the database now.
