Base antenna question..........

A question on “base” antennas. Can you use a generic NMO antenna base such as VHF UHF NMO Base Station Ground Plane Kit | eBay with a Dual Band antenna to cover VHF/UHF 144/440? If so, is there a recommendation on the length of the radials?

The length of the radials for the lowest frequency would work fine for the highest frequency. I used just such an arrangement.
