Why does the listings for the Ontario Fleetnet zone 1 now include 3 different Base, Spacing and Offset listings for the zone? How do I program my Pro-96 for this?
Not for Northumberland County. The only site out of the hundred or so sites that is in the
second range is Site 040 Toronto. It has one freq. that falls into the second range.
(152.0000 mHz). Does your radio have multi-range capacity ?
For now it is not something to worry about, but when more and more freq's
are added into the 150 range, you will start missing parts of conversation and then it will require a radio that does multi- range base and offsets , such as a BC-296D which handles
three configurations.
So does this mean if I had a v file in my pro96 with the original offset and spacing for opp east it will not decode the control channel and must I reprogram that v file ?
