Batavia / Kane Co. Command?

Since 2300something hours, Batavia PD has been using Tricom's Ch 5 (471.1000, 94.8) for "escorts" around the Raddant Road area. At the beginning, they requested that Kirk Road be shut down, too. Batavia has been communicating with Kane County Command 1 (probably the OEM Command Van) - "command" would be relaying "escort" messages to 3George1 (the administrative sergeant) so he can dole them out to units (3Victor2, 3X-Ray82, etc).

But why would that area be shut down? Is it something with Fermilab? Chemical shipment?? Anyone have any ideas?

that might have been that late night ride thru batavia and fermilab that is for some charity..start at marmion and go thru fermi ending at marmion
