I was wondering after reading a post on here about this:
I have rechargeable batteries in my 396T. I leave the switch in the battery compartment on ALKALINE, which I thought it meant if I plug a AC or DC cord into the unit it will not charge the batteries. So my question is, is it okay to use your AC or DC cord with rechargeable batteries installed as long as it is on ALKALINE if you dont want them to charge in the radio? I charge my batteries outside the radio in a MaHa charger.
