Battery Charging

Can anyone point me to a charger that will charge 3 batteries at a time? Want to charge batteries for my BC396XT outside the radio and the chargers I have will only charge 2 or 4. (Wish Uniden made the radios with 4 batteries anyway!)

+1 on the PowerEx MH-C9000 battery charger. I have 2 of them, been using them now for a little over 1 year. Best charger I have ever owned. I always have a set of batteries ready. Using 4 sets of 4 batteries for about that same time frame and all the batteries still perform great.

Personally I use one of these which charges from one to eight cells. Maybe bigger than you want, but it's nice to drag it out once every couple weeks and charge a couple dozen batteries then stick it back in a drawer.

Any particular settings that I should know about?

It has a little chart in the manual for example set the charge rate to 1300 for 2700mAh batteries or 1200 for 2500mAh or 1100 for 2200mAh batteries and so on. If you're running the batteries on a refresh cycle it also shows the discharge rate for each above example too.
