Has anybody noticed a decrease in battery life after each upgrade?

what batteries are you using? Alkaline or rechargeables??

they shouldnt be declining on you. Be sure you charge them 14 hours before using them in the radio. also check your global settings by choosing the correct battery type. You will drastically decline battery life if you have the radio on while charging them. also, use the radio until they fully discharge then fully charge them. hope this helps.

Nimh batteries dont have "Memory problems". Thats the old NiCad's. Every now and then I'll run it all the way down, but it is not necessary every time.

Has anybody noticed a decrease in battery life after each upgrade?

I've had my 500 for a week now I didn't notice any difference in battery life after upgrading to the latest DSP/CPU versions. I'm using energizer NiMH 2500s.
