Rotators are powered by the multi-conductor cable that runs from the control head to the rotator, rather than a separate extension cord / plug at the rotator.

Are there any rotors on the market that have a battery pack so I don't have to run an extension cord?

There are some quite expensive rotator controllers (WAY overkill for your needs) that are capable of remote operation. You could put the controller in a box near your antenna and then operate it remotely. But you're looking at $$$$.

Download and read the manual for whichever one you are planning to get. In the rotator I linked in the other thread, the manual says you'll need 3 conductor 22 gauge wire for the control / power line.

Extension cord??? Are you talking about to the controller or to the rotor? The rotor is power by a power supply in the controller. It's low voltage, probably around 24V. It's carried via the multi conductor control cable.
