BCD436HP/BCD536HP: Battery Warning Screen

How do I set the warning beep to start before the recording stopped screen comes up? The only beep I get is when the scanner stops receiving and displays the warning screen. I want the beeping to start before that happens so I can intervene before it cuts out. I tried 3400 in voltage but it won't go higher.

You're shortening run time doing that. The voltage setting tells the scanner when the batteries are "dead". A lower setting will let the scanner run longer before it displays the warning and shuts down.

Ok, I will set it to 3100. I just want it to beep before the scanner stops scanning.

You can't change the battery voltage interval between getting the warning and scanner shutdown. Get higher capacity batteries if you can, or plug the scanner into a USB charger to run it off external power.
