R30 Battery

Have 36 cycles on my battery. Battery drains fast just sitting, not in use. Tried to charge but won't go past 79%. Took battery out to see if it was still draining after a few days. Showed 90% this morning. weird. Is this battery taking a dump? Will drain it down then do a full charge to see what happens.

I have a couple of R30's both on >50 cycles, with no major issues. However they do seem to drain easily, I'd estimate they lose at least 5-10% after a week of being completely switched off and with zero use. The AOR DV10 battery is even worse. I assume this is more of a Li-ion thing not a speciifc scanner thing. Perhaps the procedures in this thread might help: R30 - Battery Only 3 Months Old

Thanks for the link. I'll give that a shot. I know my other R30 that sits in the closet for back up drains too but i separated the battery. I did purchase the AA battery box for backup when I bought this new.
