Battey Level on the 346XT

When you tap the button on the 346 to adjust the volume a number comes up. The highest I have seen is 4.86. Has anyone ever seen it higher? I am using 2500 rechargables.

I have never seen it higher than 4.16 after a full charge of my "energizer 2450mih using the Energizer charger.....

That's just how much power the batteries are putting out in volts. It's only a relative number of how much "charge" your batteries have left. My 396xt dies when it hits just below 3.50. And around 4.20 when my batts are fully charged.
