2132 update: MdTA advises confirmed jumper down (jumped) from Lane 5. Closest camera is WPL C506 at Gantry S-P MP 33.6.
2143 update: FB36 et al. conducting north/south parallel search in/around the pilings center-span.

Pan Pan alert by USCG on marine VHF 16.
"USCG Sector Maryland NCR has received a report of a confirmed jumper from the west bound span of the Bay Bridge. All vessels are requested to keep a sharp lookout and assist if possible"

Haven't had one for a while. Dive Team 8 enroute to USCG Annapolis to embark on their small boat.

USCG and AACoFD Fire Alarm had a few words between each other just a few moments ago. First time I've heard that happen...

Hmm, you're right - doesn't typically happen, although Dive 8 is aboard so maybe USCG are using their portables - or was it Sector? Interesting none the less.

CG 112 is in the clear, however only hearing the station side as the channel is simplex.

It seems that this is a new "procedure" for them when there are water rescues in the Annapolis Neck/Bay Bridge/South River area. This is at least the 3rd or 4th time they have done this in the past month.
