I just bought a BC 147XLT on eBay. It was quite cheap and I'm looking to use it to host a feed in my area as my dedicated scanner for that. I have a Pro-163 I use daily.
I didn't read the part where it says no antenna! I can buy an antenna for pretty cheap and still get this whole rig for like $20. But I'd kind of like to hook it up to my roof antenna also. I would to need to figure out how to split my roof antenna but I'm asking here if there is an adapter to go from BNC to the Uniden antenna for the 147XLT. I can't seem to find anything except for going from a SMA to BNC, and that won't work. I don't know what the connection is called on my 147XLT however.
The setup will probably work with just buying an OEM antenna, but I'd rather do it the other way.
