Let me start by saying I know close to nothing about scanner radios.
However, I recently have earned a great interest in them and would like to enhance my experience with my first scanner.
To get to the point....
I have a Uniden BC175xl. The manual says its equipped with a motorola antenna jack.
I live in a semi remote area and would like to try a bigger antenna out. I have not a clue even where to begin.
If someone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
