Like a total newbie I bought a 220 xlt off ebay and since lapd is apco-25 it is worthless. However I was wondering if it would work to monitor LAFD and other departments that are still FM. OK so here’s the other newb part for instance I found the frequency near my house for fire dispatch 857.93750, but I cant fit all those numbers in the scanner it only takes 7 numbers, why is that? Is this thing useless? All help much appreciated.
