BC 246 T Problem

Just recieved my BC246T, nice package, and I like the battery system (one of the reasons I chose this unit).

Unfortunately I think I have a Defective "Scroll Control", as some time I can properly scoll the menus while manually programing, but have had many occasions where the croll control will show me the current menu option plus 1 other option only eg/

-menu-
program system

or

-menu-
srch/clocall opt

and not allow me to even see the other menu items. urrgh - frustrating.

Anybody else had this problem?? Can anybody from Uniden comment on this issue? or maybe I have a localized defect.

Guess I will have to contact Uniden on monday/tuesday because of the Easter Weekend to get approval for my warranty work through Lectron Radio in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada

i didnt have that problem with mine, so it may be your particular radio. I will say however that uniden advised me 8 - 10 weeks for repair..

might be better to see if the place of purchase will allow you to return it or replace it with another.
