Tried programming "Custom Search" for first time, & ran into problem.

Have it set for 151.100 to 151.500 (Auto Steps; Auto Mode) and at 151.2500 there is a carrier which stops the scanner, and Data Skip doesn't seem to help.

When I tried to Lock out the channel I got a message to effect that it wants to know if I want to lock out "Custom Search"

Can I lock out a particular channel (such as 151.2500) in "Custom Search" or am I stuck with it? If you can, how do you do it; looked in manual & couldn't locate anything which would seem to help.

I just set mine up to do exactly what you had, it defaults to 5 KHz steps and NFM. That seems odd because I think 7.5 Khz is correct for there, but I may be wrong on that. But in any case although mine did not stop at 151.2500 it did at 151.3150 and when I hit <L/O> it locked out the frequency and began scanning again in the Custom Search scan limits. I set mine up in Custom Search 2 but I am sure that it will work the same no matter what one you set it up in.
