Ok.... I use butel's Arc246 software for scanner frequencies....


how would I go about entering a trunked system into the arc246 software or the scanner itself? like from here http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=TRSDB&sid=1579

and here

Also when it says system type EDACS Networked which do I choose? Wide, Narrow, SCT?

EDIT: Ok i read the arc246 manual and figured out what i was doing wrong on the copy/paste groups things lol (guess It does help to RTFM) lol

still confused on the TT part with EDACS and networked

There is no scanner capable of monitoring Edacs Provoice
(Digital). I have never programmed an Edacs system (analog) or an LTR system. Copy and Paste what you have so far programmed into Arc246
for these two systems and post it here. There are many people here who have Edacs and LTR programming experience.

OK, I think i might be on to something....

I setup 10 systems, each with 1 frequency and 20 LCN's


like this..


Is this the right way to find stuff using LTR or is there an easier way?

You could save a lot of time by just entering the system once (with all known frequencies, don't worry about the LCN's) and then manually monitor each channel (frequency) and see what talkgroups show up.

As you determine LCN's, just enter them.
