BC 346 rebanding upgrade

Im considering either a GRE 300 or BC 346. Is uniden shipping upgraded products re rebanded 800, or like the GRE does it require user mods.

All models currently shipping fully support rebanding out of the box.

BC346XT has supported rebanding from Unit 1.

yes it does work with the re-banded for Nassau County L.I. ;N.Y. Edec system Babylon Town mot work's good too ...Suffolk County L.I.;N.Y. is coming very soon for the re-banding radio's .......don

GRE units currently shipping should also support rebanding out-of-the-box (that is, the factory would be loading the same firmware that's available for user download/upgrade).
