BC 346XT Question

I am thinking about getting a BC 346XT and need to know if the USB 1 Cable can be used to program the radio. I don't have a Serial Port on my computer and will need to use a USB port. The 346XT is not listed in the list of radios in the USB 1 Cable info. The only other option at the moment is to use the "Grunt" method and enter all the frequencies, systems and TGID's manuall (yuck)
