Wondering if anyone has experienced this. MY 536 seems to be stuck in a reboot loop. It loads all databases, and then restarts, loads database and restarts, (rinse lather repeat). I swapped power supplys, pulled the SD card, reloaded the database, and even reloaded a fresh database on a new card. All yielded the same results. Any other ideas?

Concur with buddrousa. Have had this happen early on with one of my 536s with the OEM supplied microSDHC memory card. San Disk and Samsung microSDHC memory cards seem to work well (from personal experience as well as various posts in the RR Forums).

I believe he said he loaded a fresh database on a new card. Hopefully it was a brand new card rather than one that he had from other uses, lessening the chance of it too being corrupted. And I'm sure he went through the format process using SD Formatter, then cleared the user data with Sentinel, then did the write all the "stuff" (database, Favorites, etc.) to that new card.

He might try that one more time just for the heck of it.

The only other thing I can think of is there may be some weird corruption in his database or a Favorites List that is being transferred to the new card. Yeah this is a left field thing, but thought I'd mention it.

The OP reloaded the database on a new card and the problem was not solved! My thought is to wait for and load a fresh database when issued on Monday.

This happened to my 536 several years ago. SD card was not the problem. I had to send it to Uniden for repair.
