The system is Aliant Telecom: Saint John NB Public Safety
I am confused on this programing and need some help.

I have soft wear loaded from Bu Tel and its the Pro level

If you had a Premium membership you could just download to the software and program the scanner.

It's not a big system to program though.

What exactly don't you understand?

Your scanner should work just fine on that system from what I know. Have not been to Saint John since trunking came in but travel to Moncton often (going tomorrow in fact) and have used the 296 on the Moncton MotoII Smartnet.
