Any good software programs for this scanner with free trails. Also is there anything out there that can convert this scanner to listen to the digital communcations.

Actually we have an excellent page on the BC780 in the Wiki. And no, there's nothing I know of that can convert digital P25 comms to analog as a software package. 73s Mike
