bc-796D I-CALL ISSUE

I mastered my 796 long ago with 10 banks of trunking using ARC250, THEN small towns are now using I-Call. I have the ID's for one city but they are 45 miles away. Could be some local towns are doing the same. I SEE I-call ID's when I monitor my local CONTROLLER in the MANUAL mode. Running ID search with no results. Programmed a few that I could find with no results. SO I need an I-Call Guru to help. Pending any reply, Larry

I'm no Guru, so I went to the Wiki and found this page. It mentions the 796.

In the scan banks enter 700,000 for Motorola or i00000 for EDACS. That list will need to be selected during scan or scanning must be in ID SEARCH.

As mentioned....

I don't have the scanner you have but the I-Call feature only works (as previously stated) when in the search mode and not in the ID Scan mode on the 246 and the 396. Also, has any re-banding taken place in your area?? The 246 & 396 will however stop on those ID's if active when entered into your scan bank and detected in the ID Scan mode.
