When the rebanding takes place will the BC 796D be able to track the new 700MHz and new 800 MHz Frequecies that are not programmed from factory with some type of firmware updates. Thanks for any info: TRamrod38

According to the Wiki elsewhere on this site, the '796 will support rebanding. However, if it doesn't receive in the 700 MHz band now, and I don't believe it does, it won't be able to after the upgrading for rebanding. Reception and trunking in the 700 MHz band really has nothing to do with rebanding, they're completely seperate things.
