Bc 855 Xlt

My grandfather gave me a bc855 xlt scanner. it said 50 channels but when i programmed it there is 100 and i think it also has the whole 800mhz range. can anyone tell me more about this scanner thanks

the radio was modified. the original spec was 50 channels, and with the mod, it gave 100 channels. the bc860xlt was the replacement for the 855, and has 100 channels.
