BC-RH96 Issues with BCD396T Firmware V3.02.02

Since updating the firmware, the VOL and SQ controls on the RH are not properly operational.

If I select VOL on the 396, then VOL on the RH works.
If I select VOL on the RH, nothing.

If I select SQ on the 396, then SQ on the RH works.
If I select SQ on the RH, nothing.

What gives? Any plan to fix this?

I have/use this combo and did the update, but I don't have this issue. I'm not seeing the new display features though.

What firmware do you see on the RH96?

That's probably the firmware of the scanner... I'm asking about the head itself...

Mine shows 1.00.02 on power up.

Yes, mine too. I don't know of any RH firmware updates yet.

This combination is working for me as well. I believe the new display features only apply to the 996. It's possible your RH96 is confused and thinks it is connected to a 996. Try initializing the RH96 by holding the [2], [9] and [HOLD] keys while powering on. Hope this helps.

No, re-initializing does not fix it, but thanks for suggesting it though.

Guess I'll have to live without these features until a Firmware patch is released for the RH.
