Help please.

I’m monitoring Bergen County TRS.

What TG is the official EMS TG for Wyckoff/MP EMS?

I’m hearing them on 1021. Its shown in the db as testing TG. The only reason I caught that is because I have it that way in my scanner.

Unless 1013 is their alert, and 1021 is response? But I did hear what sounded like a dispatch conversation on 1021.

I don’t monitor enough to know. Just wondwring if someone could confirm one way or the other?

Thanks, Nick

It's being simulcasted on both. I tried to get an answer from the MP EMS Captain awhile back, he said something to the effect of the County wanted to change the channel name on 1013 and I did not hear the rest, as I was in a noisy environment. I asked if it was to separate Midland Park EMS and Wyckoff EMS to different talkgroups, he said no.

I'll ask around and try to get some clarification on this. The Valley Paramedics have access and are using the talkgroup to call in, they were using the old Police VHF channel 158.7825 146.2 for the longest time, which is now Wyckoff FD Response.
